So, the madness continues!
Yesterday, after a productive day at my mom's dental office, we went home to start our generator. We got the fuel and tank ready but we couldn't unlock the cap. Finally, after many tries, we got the damn thing loose!
As we were pouring in the gasoline, we didn't realize that the whole plastic cap had, yes, fallen into the tank! Now, what? We tried to fish for the rotten thing but couldn't get into our hands. We ended up taking out the screws that held the tank down and getting all the gasoline out of the tank, hoping the cap would fall out. But it didn't.
We were so close to giving up when a couple of our neighbors wandered over to our direction (probably because they saw us in deep trouble). After 20 minutes of digging, one of our neighbors finally pulled the darn thing out, gasoline dripping all over him. We were so relieved, you have no idea! But that isn't the end of it!
We had to pour all the gas back into the generator, nail all the screws back in and, clean up all the gasoline that was spilled!
Once everything was done and we were ready to start the thing, it wouldn't turn on. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! My mother tried so hard to pull the cord but it wouldn't budge. I was so fed up that I walked up to it and put all my strength into that cord and yanked it so hard, I was afraid it may fall out! But to my amazement, the big lug started about with a big rumble!
FINALLY!
My mom and I had big plans to go jogging but 3 hours ruined any chance of that happening. But in the end, I was pretty proud of myself and my mom. And I learned a lot from it.
A word of advice: Don't lose the cap in the tank, EVER! You may just end up with the similar story as mine!
Peace! :)

The Dark Ages
Allow me to explain my title.
No one likes the dark. It's depressing and incredibly boring. Light always brings happiness and fun in our lives. So, I imagine for those who do like the darkness, they may also LOVE power outages. But I am definitely not one of them. I HATE power outages. But I hate something even more. The cause of power outages. In this case, that deadly Hurricane Irene! When I was little, I was used to having the power out for maybe a few hours at the most but never for days! Ever since that tropical storm in March 2010, I have accepted the fact that power outages are something to get used to. It has been three days and I am so fed up with it! There is still 19% in my city without power! School has been canceled which is frankly, NOT COOL! Things are falling apart as we speak and those electricians are not helping!
Now, you may be wondering how I am working on a computer if the power is out. Well, I have the privilege to go to my mother's dental office and use her personal computer (thank god!).
And what bugs me even more are those portable generators. I am not talking about those wonderful built in ones but the portable ones that give off carbon monoxide! Now, everyone says that there is nothing to worry about since the generator is kept outside but I am not entirely convinced. I mean I still don't understand how people walk around streets with cars blowing that filthy gas everywhere! Now, I don't know about you, but I don't want to die. So I make sure my brother turns that thing off before we go to sleep or it gets to late. I am definitely investing in a proper generator when I get my own place. One of my neighbors had their generator running all night! Aren't they scared that it may start a fire or break down?!
So, as you can see I really love power outages, NOT! You may think I am a freak and that's okay because I think I am a freak, too!
Wish me luck!

Crazy, Stupid, Love
So, yesterday evening, I went to see Glenn Ficarra and John Requa's romantic comedy, Crazy, Stupid, Love starring Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling and, I must say, it was definitely worth all the running in the rain.
This comedy is about a middle-aged couple with three children, Robbie (Jonah Bobo), Hannah (Emma Stone), and Molly (Joey King), who divorce because frankly, the wife, Emily (Julianne Moore), is bored. She cheats on her husband, Cal (Steve Carell) and in days, the old man is out and about. Meanwhile, a professional and extremely rich bachelor, Jacob (Ryan Gosling), is having the time of his life when he spots Cal alone at a bar. He promises him that he will fix him up into a modern dude and get him girls. Cal is reluctant but finally agrees to redesign his life. Now, I can't tell you the rest. Why? Well, if I go on with the story, you will have just seen the whole movie in text version.
And even Emily thinks Twilight sucks. :)
I would probably give this movie an A- because it was stretched out a bit too much at the end. But I recommend you see this movie. Your stomach will hurt by then end of it. :P
'Til next time,

Sappy Intros
Hi!!!!!!
Okay, let me cut to the chase. You have now entered the chamber of the darkest secrets that frankly, everybody knows! I'm talking deadly celebrity gossip, high school drama, and.....wait for it......weird people on the streets. Believe me, they are the most interesting people you will ever meet, more interesting than those Hollywood people we call actors and singers. I mean, half of them don't even have talent! I won't name names but you know what I mean!
And yes, I am still in high school. High school drama is truly hilarious! I mean, it's just like middle school with fist fights! Okay, so I'm not technically in high school yet for another 2 weeks because of the cherished summer vacation but I am more of an expert at it than most high school students themselves.
Oh and don't worry!
You will learn more about me as we go on. I'll sneak in a fact or two here and there. Just like I sneak in an hour of dancing every morning. See! I got you! Yes, to answer your question, I am a dancer. I think you may have gotten that from my screen name, though. I have been dancing since I was four and that is the only thing I have fallen in love with so far. Dancing is one of the things that truly make me happy.
So I'll keep posting here and there but DON'T get obsessed with this. I don't want crazy stalkers at my door the next day!
I hope to hear what is important to you as well. Take care!
